Privacy policy
01 /General provisions
This Policy sets out how personal data of GoldenCalc Service ("the Service") users is processed and protected. The Service is available at calc-build.ru, calc-build.by, and calc-build.com, provided AS-IS, and is a client-side online configurator for wooden staircase calculation.
All calculations and visualizations run in the user's browser; the staircase geometry parameters entered in the configurator are not transmitted to the Operator's servers and are not personal data within the meaning of Federal Law 152-FZ.
02 /What we collect
The following categories of data may be processed when using the Service:
2.1. Technical
- IP address and derived region-level geolocation
- User-Agent, screen resolution, browser language
- Pages visited and session duration
- Cookie identifiers set by the Service and partners
2.2. Voluntarily provided
- Email address and name — when submitting the feedback form
- Message text in the feedback form
Staircase geometry, materials, prices, and calculation results remain in the user's browser and are not processed by the Operator.
03 /Purposes and legal grounds
The legal basis for personal data processing is user consent — given by continued use of the Service after reading this Policy (for RF and RB jurisdictions) or explicit consent via the cookie banner (for EU and US jurisdictions).
Processing purposes:
- Operating the Service and providing technical support
- Usage analysis and UX improvement
- Communication regarding feedback form submissions
04 /Cookies and analytics
The Service uses technical, analytics, and third-party cookies. Full list:

Disabling cookies in browser settings does not affect configurator functionality but may disable inter-session configuration storage.
05 /Third parties and sharing
The Operator does not share personal data with third parties for purposes unrelated to operating the Service. Exception — analytics providers (Yandex.Metrica, Google Analytics) that process data under their own privacy policies.
06 /Retention and storage
Personal data is processed for periods established by applicable law and stored on servers located in the Russian Federation (for RF users — under 242-FZ requirements), the EU (for EU users), or the US (for users from other jurisdictions).
07 /Subject rights
The data subject has the right to:
- Receive information about the processing of their data
- Demand correction, blocking, or deletion
- Withdraw consent to processing at any time
- Lodge a complaint with Roskomnadzor (RF) or an equivalent authority
08 /Operator contacts

09 /Policy changes
The Operator may amend this Policy. The new revision takes effect upon publication on the Service. Users are notified of material changes via the Service interface.
